SMOKE FLAVOURED DAL MAKHANI RECIPE


 Dal makhni is one of the best recipe from Indian  cuisine. There are some tricks to make this recipe ultimate I did many experiments to make this recipe the best today I have cooked this recipe to share with my blog friends. There are some tricks number 1 cook Dal with butter more you will cook Dal with butter The Dal will be more tasty second and the most important thing is smoke flavour of Dal these two two things are to be considered during making Dal Makhani recipe ok now I start to share you the recipe of Smoky flavoured dal makhani.
 Ingredients 100gm black urad dal ,50 gm small Rajma ,hundred gram onion chopped, one teaspoon crushed garlic, one teaspoon crushed Ginger, 2tbs tomato puree or 100gm tomato chopped,1 tbsp oil 1 and half tablespoon ghee 2 Cloves, one bay leaf one piece of coal, 2 tbsp butter or Malai if you use Malai then take one teaspoon butter extra to garnish. 1 green chilli cut into small pieces, green coriander leaves, 1 teaspoon kasuri Methi ,one teaspoon Kitchen King or plain Garam Masala powder,1tsp chilli powder,1/4 tsp turmeric powder ,salt accordind to taste or 1 and 1/2 tsp.


: RECEPE: soak rajma and black urad dal in the night .in morning wash dal and Rajma and put in a cooker add 2 cup water ,1/4tsp  haldi ,salt and Malai or butter cook till rajma and dal becomes soft . Generally it cooks well after 6 to 7 vishals of cooker .Mash The Dal properly .in a separate Cooking Pan heat oil add cloves and bay leaf let it crackled then add chopped onion and Ginger cook till became light brown then add chili powder and salt cook for a minute then add tomato puree cook till oil separate from gravy then add cooked dal and Rajma .cook for 10 to 15 minutes you can add more butter during cooking to make much better taste then add kasuri methi and Kitchen King garam masala powder .mix well .in a small pot heat ghee add garlic .mix well add A Pinch of chili powder add this garlic mixture into dal makhani cook for 1- 2 minutes then heat a coal on  gas burner when it start to burning put it in a bowl and put bowl on the centre of Dal Makhani pot add 1/4 teaspoon ghee on coal it will start to smoke put a lid on dal makhni pot and put weight on lid leave it for 10 to 15 minutes then remove the lid. Garnish with green coriander leaves and green chillies it is now ready to serve.

Boil dal butter/malai with turmeric powder and salt




Heat oil add garam masala add onion fry till light brown





Add tomato puree , chilli and salt.cook till oil separation


Add rajma dal in gravy.cook for 10-15 minutes.


In a separate pan heat ghee add crushed garlic and a pinch red chilli powder.add this mixture in dal.

Add kasuri methi and kichen king garam masala powder.mix wel.



burn a coal on gas burner.put it in a bowl.put bowl in center of dal pot.put some drops of ghee on coal and place a lid on pot.put a heavy thing on lid also.garnish with green coriander green chilli and dont forget to add butter.
